Most gardening apps are cluttered with ads, generic blog posts, and one-size-fits-all advice. SproutSmart™ is different. It is a data-first tool built around a single question: given your exact USDA Hardiness Zone and today's date, when should you be sowing, transplanting, and harvesting?

We cover 1536+ crop varieties across all 24 USDA zones, turning complex frost-date math into a clear, actionable schedule — no guesswork, no generic month ranges.

Who We Are

SproutSmart™ is proudly operated by Logan Scott LLC, based in Sheridan, Wyoming. The platform was built by technical professionals with a passion for gardening and a background in software engineering and cybersecurity. That combination matters: it means the app is as robust and secure as it is useful.

Your email address and garden data are handled with the same care we would apply to any sensitive system — minimal collection, no third-party advertising, and no selling of your information.

Our Philosophy

• High-signal data only. Every crop schedule is derived from verified agronomic data and USDA zone definitions — not crowd-sourced guesses.
• Privacy by default. We use Umami, a privacy-preserving analytics platform that collects no personally identifiable information and sets no tracking cookies.
• Security-first architecture. User accounts, garden data, and notification preferences are protected using industry-standard practices. We regularly review our infrastructure to stay ahead of common vulnerabilities.
• No ads, ever. SproutSmart™ is supported by its users, not by advertising revenue. That means our recommendations are never influenced by sponsors or affiliate relationships.
