Direct sow or transplant warm-season holdovers like Tomato and Bell Pepper if you still have space, focusing on sturdy starts. Add quick, heat-tolerant herbs like Basil and fast producers like Zucchini to keep harvests coming through late summer.

The Harvest

Harvest peppers and eggplants frequently so plants keep setting new fruit; pick Aji Habanero and Poblano as they reach your preferred size and color. Continue collecting Tomato regularly for best flavor and reduced cracking, and harvest Zucchini every few days to prevent oversized fruit.
